The Topic Groups comprise professional
planning staff from the eight constituent local authorities and the Joint Committee's
Core Team to provide detailed technical data collection
and analyses of various strategic planning issues.
These Teams provide the
authorities with an essential vehicle for their joint technical work, upon
which long-term strategy and policy development is based.
